Sechskies’ Lee Jai-jin holds first art exhibit

Singer Lee Jai-jin of the veteran boy band Sechskies, who now creates artwork under the name Hanzo, opened a private art exhibition on Wednesday.

Lee has been studying Western painting since September 2014, and he has spent the last year preparing for this exhibition.

Apart from attending scheduled events with Sechskies members, he has been spending his time working on pieces in his studio.

Lee debuted as a member of Sechskies in 1997. The group disbanded in 2000, but reunited on the MBC reality program “Infinite Challenge” in April 2016.

After their reunion, the group, with the exception of member Ko Ji-yong, signed an exclusive contract with YG Entertainment in May 2016, and has been making music and touring since.

The exhibition titled “Hanzo,” is currently being held in Insa-dong at Gallery is, located in central Seoul, and will end on July 17.
