Dog days
Heat haze shimmers above a road in Yeouido, western Seoul, on Monday as the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) issued heat wave warnings across most parts of the country. Daytime temperatures rose to 34 degrees Celsius (93.2 Fahrenheit) in Seoul on Monday. The KMA forecast that the heat wave and so-called tropical nights will prevail for about a month. [YONHAP]
