Samsung ranks highly among American millennialsSamsung Electronics Co. ranked 17th in terms of brand reputation among millennials in the United States, data showed Wednesday.
According to the data compiled by market researcher Morning Consult, Samsung was the only Korean company included on the list of popular companies among millennials, or those aged from 18 to 29.
The survey was conducted from January through March this year on some 1,000 brands. Foodstuffs brand Pillsbury was tied with Samsung.
Online video sharing platform YouTube ranked No. 1, followed by IT giant Google. Video-streaming platform Netflix and online merchant Amazon followed, with Japan’s Sony coming in at the fifth spot.
