Kang Ho-dong’s father passes away suddenly

Kang’s agency SM C&C confirmed to Ilgan Sports, an affiliate of the Korea JoongAng Daily, that Kang’s father passed away at 6:30 a.m. on Friday. They added, “The funeral will be a quiet one with family and friends. We ask for your consideration so that the family can express their condolences to the deceased.”
The entertainer debuted as a comedian in 1993, and he is currently hosting a number of television shows, including JTBC’s “Dining Together” and “Knowing Bros,” tvN’s “Island Trio” and more.
