Remembering Dosan
Models showcase commemorative medals for the 140th anniversary of the birth of Korean independence activist Ahn Chang-ho. The medals, unveiled by the Korea Minting, Security Printing & ID Card Operating Corporation on Thursday, will be available for purchase for a limited time between Aug. 20 and Aug. 31 at Hyundai.com, the Hyundai Department Store’s online mall, and Hyundai Homeshopping’s online site Hyundai H Mall. The medals will also be sold at IBK, NH Nonghyup, and Korea Post branches across the country as well as online coin mall Poongsan Hwadong. [YONHAP]
