Mamamoo concerts postponedGirl group Mamamoo’s agency announced Friday that the group’s concert series scheduled in December has been postponed after fans expressed concern about the packed schedule.
The news comes after the agency allowed fans to vote on whether or not the group should hold their “4season F/W concerts” concert series.
It was set to take place at SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium in Olympic Park, southern Seoul, from Dec. 15 to 16.
The fans, however, voted to postpone the concert series.
Complaints were first raised by a fan association on Nov. 9. The fans issued a statement asking the agency to postpone the group’s F/W concerts due to worries about Mamamoo’s health.
The agency responded that day that the concerts cannot be postponed and that the members were already well rested.
The association immediately issued another statement saying that it would boycott the group’s upcoming concerts and the purchase of the group’s goods unless the agency provides them with a “reasonable response.”
Despite the postponement of the concert, the group’s latest EP “BLUE;S” will be released on Nov. 29 as previously announced.
