Coinone’s Cross remittance service debuts in 2 markets
Cryptocurrency exchange Coinone launched its overseas remittance service Cross on Tuesday.Coinone Transfer, the exchange’s remittance subsidiary, partnered with SBI Ripple Asia to launch Cross. It uses xCurrent, a cross-border payment settlement alternative to Swift developed by blockchain company Ripple. Around 120 firms worldwide are using xCurrent.
Cross is currently only able to make transfers to the Philippines and Thailand.
