“We will be reporting people who post and spread vicious comments about Shaun,” said the agency. “We have already collected the necessary data.”
Shaun reported internet trolls last summer after he was accused of manipulating online music charts in July.
The singer was accused of using unfair means to push his track “Way Back Home” up the charts, which usually features songs by the hottest K-pop groups on the top of the list.
K-pop fans got suspicious when he beat major names like Blackpink, Twice and Apink on the charts of music streaming services such as Melon, Mnet, Genie and Olleh Music.
While the agency let off the trolls last year, many of whom turned out to be teenagers, they are taking a firm stance this time.
“We won’t be overlooking the cases in which people post unconstructive criticism and vicious slander towards the singer,” said the agency. “We will be taking all possible legal measures [against them].”
