Kang Daniel takes trolls to police
“We have filed a complaint to the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office for contempt against those who posted disparaging comments online,” his agency LM Entertainment announced Thursday afternoon. “Kang himself went to the police to explain how some posts have affected him mentally.”
According to the agency, Kang reviewed comments from online news articles and blog posts and turned in the evidence. Posts that were subject to complaints included those belittling Kang’s appearance, sexual harassment and others that he considered having “bad intentions.”
After Wanna One officially ended on Dec. 31, Kang and member Yoon Ji-sung signed exclusive contracts with LM Entertainment, a newly-founded entertainment agency. Kang is currently preparing to release a solo album in April.
