Jay Lee promoted to head eBay’s marketplace businessLee Jae-hyun, also known as Jay Lee, has been selected as General Manager of eBay’s global marketplace business.
As General Manager, Lee will oversee eBay’s global marketplace operations in the Americas, Asia-Pacific and central and southern Europe. He will be working directly with eBay President and CEO Devin Wenig.
Lee first joined eBay in 2002. He helped develop the company’s Asian businesses, such as Gmarket and Auction in Korea, and headed eBay’s operations in major Middle Eastern and European markets.
Prior to working at eBay, Lee was with the Boston Consulting Group for more than seven years.
