Celebs head online for new show

Entertainment channel SBS Plus is set to launch a new reality program titled “Rent Channel: You Have a Missed Call” (translated), featuring celebrities and popular social media creators.
According to the channel on Monday, celebrities including singer Kim Hee-chul from boy band Super Junior, Hyerin from girl group EXID and comedian Kwon Hyuk-soo will be “renting” popular online creators’ social media channels to create their own content on various topics, from cooking to pets and beauty.
“[The program will feature] several creators with over 100,000 subscribers who will share their knowledge on how to make successful online content, how to select props and at what time to air the shows,” it announced.
Popular creators like BJ Gamst, who uploads videos on football through live-streaming platform Afreeca TV, and Shuki, a mukbang creator, will team up with celebrities including Kim, Kwon, and others to produce new content.
The program will premiere on April 8 at 11 p.m.
