BTS album keeps producing hits
The music video for the lead track “Boys With Luv” exceeded 100 million views at 7:37 a.m. on April 14, just 37 hours and 37 minutes after its release on YouTube, according to Big Hit Entertainment. That was the fastest a K-pop video has ever reached 100 million views on YouTube. “Boys with Luv” became the 18th BTS video to top 100 million views, a feat no other K-pop star has come close to.
All seven tracks of the album made it to the Global Top 200 on Spotify, one of the world’s largest digital music streaming services. According to Spotify, “Boys with Luv” ranked No. 4, while other tracks such as “Mikrokosmos,” “Make It Right,” “HOME,” “Dionysus,” “Jamais Vu,” “Intro: Persona” ranked 14th, 17th, 19th, 22th, 24th and 39th.
BTS released the album at 6 p.m. on April 12, and it immediately rose to No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums chart in 86 countries and regions.
