Wedding bells are ringing for ALi

테스트

Singer ALi will be tying the knot with her fiance on May 11, her agency Soulsting announced on Friday.

The wedding will be held privately, according to the agency.

“I am glad to have found someone to share all my joy and sadness with,” said ALi. “I hope that the happiness that awaits will allow me to experience a new world, different from the music embedded deep within myself.”

ALi made her debut in 2009 with the ballad song “365 Days,” and has been recognized for her unique and deep voice.

She performed in Pyongyang last April along with other K-pop acts such as girl group Red Velvet and veteran singer Jo Yong-pil.

She also sang the Jindo Arirang, a traditional Korean folk song, at the top of Mount Paektu in September, as a part of a special entourage team to the inter-Korean summit.

“ALi will continue to be active as a singer after her marriage,” the agency added.
