Final preparations

Preparations for the Gwangju 2019 FINA World Aquatics Championships are underway at the Yeomju Gymnasium in Gwangju, on Thursday. The championships, slated to take off on July 12, will be the biggest in history. As of Thursday, 2,955 swimmers from 193 countries are expected to compete with applications still pending from 16 remaining countries, including North Korea. [YONHAP]
