Minhyun makes his musical debut

Minhyun of K-pop boy band Nu’est has officially transitioned into a musical actor with his role in “Marie Antoinette,” Pledis Entertainment said on Wednesday.
“Minhyun took part in his first musical on Wednesday, playing Hans Axel von Fersen, a brave and charming Swedish noble that loved Marie Antoinette, and will be flaunting his detailed, emotional acting,” the agency said.
“Marie Antoinette” is a musical that has returned to Korea for the first time since it was first staged in 2014. The show revolves around the 18th century French queen and the French Revolution.
The musical held its first preview show on Aug. 24 and will run until Nov. 17 at the D-Cube Arts Center in southern Seoul.
