The Iffam annually selects actors and directors from throughout Asia to represent and promote their festival. Along with Suho, Hong Kong actor Carina Lau, who is known for her performances in “Days of Being Wild” (1990) and “2046” (2004) has also been named an ambassador, as well as director Kim Yong-hwa of “Along with the Gods” series and director Wang Xiaoshuai.
The latter has taken home two Silver Bears, the runner-up prize at the Berlin International Film Festival, for his acclaimed works “Beijing Bicycle” (2001) and “In Love We Trust” (2007).
The fourth Iffam is scheduled to be held from Dec. 5 to 10 in Macau. Suho, along with the three other ambassadors, will attend the opening ceremony and enjoy the annual event.
Suho is currently active not only in film, but also in musicals and dramas as well. He debuted as an actor through the film “One Way Trip” (2016) and also received the Discovery of the Year - Male award at the 15th Jecheon International Music & Film Festival (Jimff). He will also walk the red carpet at the upcoming Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) as the ambassador for Iffam.
