‘Miss Trot’ going back on the road

The stars of TV Chosun’s hit show “Miss Trot” will embark on another nationwide tour later this month.

Starting from Nov. 29 in Cheongju, North Chungcheong, former contestants of the televised singing competition will perform live in nearly 20 different locations, including Seoul, Busan and Daegu. Nine singers, including Song Ga-in, winner of the show’s first season, are set to participate.

Earlier this year, “Miss Trot” contestants went out on a nationwide tour, performing to a total of 130,000 people from May to August.

“Miss Trot” aired for three months until May and was beloved by fans of the decades-old music genre, which is characterized by a repetitive rhythm and engagement with audience.

Further information about ticket sales will be announced at a later date.
