Korean speech contest held in India

The 12th All India Korean Language Speech Contest successfully wrapped on Thursday at New Delhi, India.
In the event co-hosted by the Korean Cultural Centre India and the University of Delhi’s Department of East Asian Studies, 25 Indian students competed in three language levels, according to a report by Yonhap. Students discussed various elements of Korean culture in their speeches, from BTS to novels by Choi In-hun.
Winners were awarded with a chance to travel to Korea or sponsored products by Korean companies like Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics.
“The students who participated in this event will make many contributions to Korea-India relations,” said Ambassador to India Shin Bong-kil.
