A pair of bonded Eurasian otters, an endangered species, wait to be released back into the wild at Geumho River in Daegu on Monday. The otters, which were rescued in South Jeolla last year and had been living at Jeonnam Wildlife Rescue & Management Center, were released after completing nature adjustment training at the National Institute of Ecology in South Chungcheong and the Korean Otter Research Center in Gangwon.
