After the median price of apartments in Seoul soared since President Moon Jae-in took office, Deputy Prime Minister for the Economy Hong Nam-ki and Land Minister Kim Hyun-mee on Monday came up with tougher regulations to cool off the real estate market, and Moon’s Chief of Staff Noh Young-min ordered senior Blue House officials to sell real estate they weren’t living in. Meanwhile, Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon wants a chance to solve the problem on his own.
