The music video for the remix of BTS’s 2017 hit “MIC Drop” surpassed 600 million views on Thursday.
“The remix music video for ‘MIC Drop’ surpassed 600 million views at 9:01 a.m., after it was posted in November 2017,” the group’s agency Big Hit Entertainment said in a statement.
The 600 million-view feat gives the group a total of five music videos that have surpassed the threshold: “DNA” (2017), “Fire” (2016), “Fake Love” (2018) and “Boy With Luv” (2019).
The remix version of “MIC Drop” features BTS and Steve Aoki, with the group’s well-known powerful performance and beat, added with the delicate touches of the D.J.
The remix was released in November 2017, two months after BTS’s “Love Yourself: Her” was released featuring “MIC Drop” as one of the tracks. It ranked on the Billboard 100 for 10 weeks straight.
