On the same day as the much-anticipated release of its fourth full-length album “Map of the Soul: 7,” BTS also celebrated another milestone - the music video for its 2019 hit “Boy With Luv” surpassed 700 million views on YouTube on Friday.
According to Big Hit Entertainment, the band’s agency, “Boy With Luv” hit the 700 million view mark on Friday morning at 8:10 a.m., becoming the second music video by the group to surpass 700 million views.

The news came just hours before the K-pop superstars dropped “Map of the Soul: 7” on Friday at 6 p.m.
In an interview with host Zane Lowe on Apple Music’s Beats 1 radio, the group called the new album “a big diary [of] the past seven years.”
“It’s like a declaration that we have admitted our destiny,” explained member RM.
