Girl group (G)I-DLE will be dropping its new EP “I Trust” next month, its agency Cube Entertainment said on Tuesday.
(G)I-DLE released the first teaser for the EP on Tuesday morning, a black-and-white photo with the EP’s release date, April 6.
The agency explained that the black part of the picture is a snake’s scale, providing a slight hint to what the EP’s concept is.
(G)I-DLE made its debut with “Latata” (2018) and has quickly rose to fame with its hit songs and catchy choreography.
The group was especially praised for the song “Lion,” which was revealed through Mnet’s 2019 music competition show “Queendom” and was written by member Soyeon.
The music video for “Lion” has been seen over 45 million times on YouTube since its release on Nov. 4.
