Ong Seong-wu drops the six-track ‘Layers,’ his first EP as a solo artistSinger Ong Seong-wu dropped his first EP “Layers” on Wednesday, his first big release as a solo artist.

“Layers” contains five new tracks, including the lead track “Gravity,” as well as the pre-released single.
According to the agency, Ong took part in composing all the songs and writing all of the lyrics for the EP, focusing on themes of “attraction,” “consolation” and “epiphany.”
“The lead track ‘Gravity’ talks about the courage and attraction one finds in their journey through the void,” the agency said.

Ong made his debut as a part of the 11-member project band Wanna One in 2017 after winning the final slot of Mnet’s audition program “Produce 101.”
