‘Peninsula’ signs VR content deal with Singaporean production studio

“Peninsula,” the long-awaited follow-up to “Train to Busan,” will be available to enjoy not only in theaters, but also through virtual reality (VR).

Film distribution company Next Entertainment World announced that it has formed an exclusive contract with Singaporean production studio Vividthree, which will develop and produce VR content based on the film’s story, such as VR immersive experiences, escape missions, themed houses and more.

The Singapore company was also responsible for developing VR content for the 2016 film as well, such as a themed house experience which traveled around the globe to entertain film fans in 2018.
