The largest automaker in Korea added its highest-level trim for the upgrade, characterized by luxurious design and more convenient features seen in the upgraded Grandeur sedan launched last year. The upgrade includes a distinct grill design, nappa leather seats and a leather-covered steering wheel.
The new trim, dubbed "Caligraphy," also has a 12.3-inch full-LCD dashboard, a head-up display and curtains for the backseats. It is priced at 45.67 million won ($37,000).
Hyundai Motor said it's also adding a specialized version, dubbed "VIP," to attract customers looking for more premium options. The VIP version comes with a rear-seat entertainment system of two screens for the backseats. It also comes with a mini refrigerator, extra smartphone chargers and better headrests.
