Naver Audioclip will release Korea’s very first audio cinema content on June 18, the company announced on Thursday.

The three audio films are based on Naver webtoons, or web novel, series. Instead of watching the films on screen, the users will only hear actors’ voices to follow the narratives. Actors Chan Yeol and Lee Se-young will lend their voices for the cartoonist Ha Il-kwon’s “My Heart is Beating.”

Writer Flowbee’s web novel series “Falling Asleep Next to You” (translation) will feature voices of actors Lee Je-hoon and Yoo In-na, and Kim Dong-wook and Kang So-ra for cartoonist Hyeono’s “A Man and a Woman” (translation).

Naver Audioclip is the web portal’s audio streaming service which has been experimenting with audio content such as releasing audio drama series and variety shows.
