The rankings are determined through an analysis of media coverage and fan enthusiasm for girl groups using big data collected from May 12 to June 13.
Oh My Girl ranked second and Blackpink followed in third.
According to the institute, a keyword analysis for Twice included the terms “Billboard,” “performance,” “album” and "controversy."
