Twice has the band brand to beat in June

Twice [JYP ENTERTAINMENT]

Twice [JYP ENTERTAINMENT]

Twice topped this month’s brand rankings for K-pop girl groups, the Korean Business Research Institute announced Sunday.

The rankings are determined through an analysis of media coverage and fan enthusiasm for girl groups using big data collected from May 12 to June 13.

Oh My Girl ranked second and Blackpink followed in third.

According to the institute, a keyword analysis for Twice included the terms “Billboard,” “performance,” “album” and "controversy."

Twice’s latest EP “More & More” is topping charts and breaking records despite being embroiled in a plagiarism controversy over the use of a sculpture in a music video.
