Night tours of Gyeongbok Palace begin Sept. 2

Gyeongbok Palace will begin nighttime tours from Sept. 2, a little later than previous years due to the coronavirus crisis in Seoul, announced the Cultural Heritage Administration on Monday.

The gates of the royal palaces were reopened July 22 but only for individual visits. The administration suspended nearly all tours and cultural events at royal palaces in late May.

Gyeongbok Palace will be open at night through Dec. 4. Tickets are available on Naver starting from Aug. 21.
