As part of the opening ceremony of the 23rd Bucheon International Comics Festival (Bicof), comic illustrators and writers from various parts of the world are holding a video conference. [BICOF]
The 23rd Bucheon International Comics Festival (Bicof) kicked off on Saturday. The opening ceremony took place at the Korean Manhwa Museum in Bucheon, Gyeonggi, without an audience, and was live streamed on the Bicof website and YouTube on the day. All the other events of the festival including the exhibitions, screenings of animated films and talks with comic illustrators and writers will also take place online, amid the Covid-19 pandemic. The festival will run through Sept. 27.
