Will Korea's airline industry ever really take off again?

The aviation industry has been one of the hardest hit by Covid-19.

With travel restrictions now in place around the world, airlines have been unable to operate overseas routes.

No flights means no money and no work, so airline employees were put on unpaid leave, or even laid off.

Larger airlines have been able to stay afloat by increasing cargo services, but smaller carriers don't have that luxury. With no end to the pandemic in sight, the future of the aviation industry remains unclear.
