New ancient bread offered by SPC is rolled out

SPC Group has introduced a new line of bread.

It is called Passion 5 Terrace and is being rolled out with the slogan “Made from Origin, Baked with Passion.”

Passion 5 Terrace will offer customers various breads, including baguettes and croissants, made with ancient wheat.

The ancient wheat, one of the earliest cultivated forms of wheat, is known to be nutritious, as it is rich in minerals, dietary fiber and antioxidants. It looks like brown rice, but tastes soft and savory when it is made into bread, according to the company.

Passion 5 Terrace has some 20 types of breads made of the ancient wheat. In the case of croissant, the product also has butter, sugar, yeast and milk.

The bakery allows customers to look at the bakers while they knead the dough and observe the milling of the wheat.

The Passion 5 Terrace will be located in the same building as the company’s Passion 5 bakery, located in Hannam-dong, central Seoul.

With the name being Terrace, the courtyard of the building has been designed with antique objects and transformed into a garden.
