41st Blue Dragon Film Awards set for Feb. 9 following postponement

The 41st Blue Dragon Film Awards, or the Cheongryong Film Awards, will take place on Feb. 9 after being postponed last December due to Covid-19, organizers of the awards ceremony said on Tuesday.
 
Fighting for the best film award will be "Moving On" (2019), "The Man Standing Next" (2019), "Voice of Silence" (2020), "Moonlit Winter" and "Kim Ji-Young, Born 1982" (2019).
 
Nominated for the director of the year award are Yang Woo-seok of "Steel Rain 2: Summit" (2019), Yeon Sang-ho of "Peninsula" (2020), Woo Min-ho of "The Man Standing Next," Lim Dae-hyung of "Moonlit Winter" and Hong Won-chan of "Deliver Us From Evil" (2019). 
 
Up-and-coming directors that have been nominated are Kim Do-young of "Kim Ji-Young, Born 1982" Kim Cho-hee of "Lucky Chan-Sil" (2019), Yun Dan-bi of "Moving On," director and actor Jung Jin-young of "Me and Me" and Hong Eu-jung of "Voice of Silence."
 
Fighting for the best actress award are Kim Hee-ae, Ra Mi-ran, Shin Min-ah, Jeon Do-yeon and Jung Yu-mi, while actors Yoo Ah-in, Lee Byung-hun, Lee Jung-jae, Jung Woo-sung and Hwang Jung-min compete for best actor.
 
The award ceremony will take place at the Incheon Paradise City and will be broadcast live through channel SBS and Naver TV.
