Song Hye-kyo wins top prize at Blue Dragon Series Awards for 'The Glory'

Actor Song Hye-kyo won the Grand Prize at the 2nd Blue Dragon Series Awards for her role in the hit Netflix series "The Glory" Wednesday.
 
Song grabbed the top prize at the ceremony held at Incheon Paradise City hotel on Wednesday. This is the first time the Blue Dragon Series Awards, which commemorates excellence in series, dramas and shows on streaming services, was held offline.
 
"I do not think I would have another opportunity to congratulate myself like this," Song said in her acceptance speech.

The Best Drama award went to Disney+ original series "Big Bet" starring Choi Min-sik as the lead, while the Best Actor award went to Ha Jung-woo for his role in the Netflix series "Narco-Saints" in the male category. The Best Actor award in the female category went to Bae Suzy for her role as the titular character in the Coupang Play series "Anna."
 
The Best New Actor award went to Park Ji-hoon for "Weak Hero Class 1" for the male category and Shin Ye-eun for "Revenge of Others" for the female category.
 
For reality television and variety programs, the Best Variety Program award went to Netflix's "Siren: Survive the Island," while the Best Male Entertainer award went to Yu Jae-seok for "Playou Level Up." The Best Female Entertainer went to Joo Hyun-young for "SNL Korea."
 
The Tirtir Popularity Awards went to four individuals: actor Cha Eun-woo, Jaechan of boy band DKZ, entertainer Lee Kwang-soo and volleyball star Kim Yeon-koung.
