[Living Tradition] Hanbok Culture Week

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has designated April 9 to 18 as Hanbok Culture Week and encouraged people to make hanbok, or traditional Korean clothes, their “outfit of the day,” at least for the week.

During the week, various events related to hanbok will be carried out across the country, including a “K-pop and Hanbok” exhibit at Dongdaemun Design Plaza, which kicks off on April 13.

This picture shows officials at the Culture Ministry coming to work dressed in hanbok. For more information on the programs related to the Hanbok Culture Week, visit hanbokweek.com. [MINISTRY OF CULTURE, SPORTS AND TOURISM]
