Kang Daniel’s latest music video for his track “Antidote” exceeded 10 million views in 12 hours on Wednesday. The K-pop singer broke his own record after he reached 10 million views in 49 hours with “Paranoia,” which was released last month.

“Antidote” is the title track of Kang's latest album “Yellow,” which dropped Tuesday. As soon as it was released, the album topped iTunes album charts in various countries including Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Chile, Malaysia, Macau and Indonesia. It ranked 9th in the United States and 3rd on the iTunes K-pop chart.

Despite the album being very experimental and rather heavy in its theme, it has been garnering much attention across the globe. “Antidote” is alternative R&B, a genre that’s not widely selected by K-pop singers. It was written by Jonathan Hoskins, Anthony Pavel and MZMC, who have worked with world-renowned artists like PartyNextDoor and Hkalid. Denis Kosiak worked on mixing the song.
