'TikTok Stage Solo Night' to feature four K-pop artists

Mobile video platform TikTok will host a live performance of solo K-pop artists on May 6.

“TikTok Stage Solo Night,” which will air for about two hours, will feature performances from Kyuhyun of Super Junior, Taemin of SHINee, Jessi, and Lee Young-ji.

In a first for the TikTok Stage series, the event will have an M.C. to add commentary between each of the artists' performances. Renowned lyricist Kim Eana will take on the role of host.

It will also be the first time a TikTok Stage concert will be held outside to showcase Seoul's nightscape.

Anyone with a TikTok application can watch the concert through the @tiktok_stage account.

“We are excited that local solo artists have a chance to communicate with the fans all across the world through this event,” said a TikTok official in a press release. “We will continue to provide opportunities to make unique performances which fans can enjoy in a safe and easy manner.”

The Seoul concert will mark the seventh concert in the TikTok Stage series, which was first launched in May last year.
