Blackpink to hold live session on TikTok on Oct. 21

YG Entertainment announced Wednesday that girl group Blackpink will hold a special live session on TikTok on Oct. 21, communicating with fans all over the world for 100 minutes.

The "TikTok Stage with Blackpink" will begin at 7 p.m. on Oct. 21 and those who have been chosen through a special event held prior to the session will be able to join members by having their own faces streamed live through the screen along with Blackpink.

Blackpink will not only talk about its latest release "The Album," which dropped on Oct. 2, but also entertain the viewers with a variety of events such as quizzes and talks.

"The session is expected to be much welcomed by Blinks all over the world, as Blackpink is well-known for the love it has shown its fans over the years," the agency said.

Blackpink has been topping charts in and outside of Korea with "The Album," its first full-length album.

It topped the iTunes albums chart in 57 regions around the world, and topped the Billboard Artist 100 chart on the latest update made on Tuesday.
