Boy band Enhypen topped Japan’s Oricon weekly album chart for the second week in a row, according to Oricon on Tuesday.

Enhypen’s second EP “Border: Carnival” (2021) which was released on April 26 ranked No. 1 on this week’s album chart following last week, which was the team’s first chart-topper in Japan.

Enhypen is the only artist that has topped the Oricon weekly album chart for two consecutive weeks this year.

“Border: Carnival” also topped Korea’s Hanteo and Gaon album sales charts in April after only five days of sales. The album sold over 520,000 copies last month.

Enhypen debuted in November 2020 with its first EP “Border: Day One.” It was formed through Mnet’s audition Program “I-LAND” (2020) and consists of six Korean members and one Japanese member.

The boy band will also release its Japanese debut single “Border: Hakanai” on July 6 and officially hit the Japanese market.
