All 13 members of boy band Seventeen renewed their contracts with Pledis Entertainment, according to a statement from the agency on Monday.

Pledis said that after a long discussion with the band about its future, it was agreed that it would be best to extend their contracts, even in advance of their expiration.

The band’s contracts were originally supposed to end next year.

“Seventeen has established itself as one of the top artists in Korea, based on a foundation of mutual trust with Pledis,” the agency added.

“All 13 members agreed to continue as a team to make more music and perform for the fans,” Seventeen said.

Pledis promised to “fully support” the band in all its future activities, whether it be as a group or as soloists, and that they will work together to create stable and long-term plans for upcoming promotions.

Seventeen’s latest EP, titled “Your Choice,” landed the band’s first No. 1 on the Billboard Top Album Sales Chart after selling 20,500 copies the first week after its release in June 18.
