JW Marriott Hotel Seoul
Ongoing: JW Marriott Hotel Seoul presents the Garden Retreat promotion, a unique chance to savor the ambience of autumn accompanied by a selection of grilled cuisine in The Margaux Grill’s seventh-floor garden. Featuring a four-course set family menu curated by The Margaux Grill’s head chef, the promotion begins with appetizers of lobster & mushroom salad, a combination of tender lobster and rich mushroom aromas; grilled octopus with spicy XO sauce; and B.L.T. salad with a soft cream cheese dressing. A choice of soups follows, with French-style clear vegetable soup featuring boiled ribs and tender chicken breast cooked sous-vide, or soup of the day. A selection of four mains includes super prime steak (a choice of T-bone or rib-eye), prepared using The Margaux Grill’s unique in-house aging technique; sea bass papillote, crafted from sea bass wrapped in lotus leaf and a variety of seasonal vegetables grilled on baking paper; penne with beef meatballs; and grilled broccolini with burrata, promising an epicurean family dining experience. The menu concludes with desserts of apple mousse cake, boasting a rich caramel flavor; sweet-yet-tangy mango mousse with strawberry sorbet; and soft triple chocolate mousse cake. The Garden Retreat menu at The Margaux Grill is priced at 450,000 won ($376) for three people (including tax and service charge) and available at both lunch and dinner times. JW Marriott Hotel Seoul’s seventh-floor garden is designed by Olson Kundig, the architectural studio renowned for its innovative use of nature in buildings. With grass, herbs and trees evoking the ambience of a European secret garden, the venue has won popularity as a beautiful urban destination for enjoying natural escapes in the heart of the city.
