Actor Kang Ye-won tests positive for Covid-19

Actor Kang Ye-won has tested positive for Covid-19, her agency J,Wide-Company said Monday. Kang is fully vaccinated.

“She tested negative on Oct. 21 but was still feeling sick, so she voluntarily took another test on Oct. 23 and received a positive test result the following day,” the agency said in a statement. “She is following the health guidelines and self-quarantining at home.”

Kang also posted the news on her Instagram account, telling her followers to “be careful [of the virus] because I’ve been fully vaccinated, but I still got it.”

Kang is currently filming JTBC’s new drama series “Just One Person.” It tells the story of a terminally ill woman who decides to kill a “bad guy” because she’s going to die anyway. The drama is set to premiere in December.
