Local music streaming site Genie Music launches multi-audio service

Local music streaming site Genie Music is launching a multi-audio service “Story G” from Tuesday.

The “Story G” service provides a variety of audio-related content such as music, podcasts, audio books and web novels. The music platform said it will be actively collaborating with broadcaster MBC, e-book provider Millie and Storywiz, a webtoon and web novel platform to provide a variety of content.

Genie app can now be downloaded via Google’s Play Store. The service will be updated for iPhone users in the near future.

“Based on KT’s progressive AI audio technology, we will strengthen our platform’s competitiveness through creating a variety of audio content to provide entertainment for our users,” said Kim Jung-wook, the head of the AI audio business department, in a statement released on Tuesday.
