Entertainer Yu Jae-suk, singer You Hee-yul make full recoveries from Covid

Entertainer Yu Jae-suk and singer-songwriter You Hee-yul have fully recovered from Covid-19, their agency Antenna said in a statement Tuesday.

“Yu and You underwent treatment at home and were each released from quarantine on Dec. 19 and Dec. 21,” the statement read. “The two artists are expected to get back to their schedules.

“We would like to thank the medical staff and authorities who were involved in the preventive measures against the virus,” it continued. “We will always put the health and safety of our artists and employees first, and comply with the health authorities’ guidelines.”

Both celebrities received two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine, but You tested positive on Dec. 10. Yu initially tested negative earlier this month after coming into close contact with someone who tested positive, but later tested positive on Dec. 13.
