KBS Entertainment Awards announces nominations for Grand Prize

The nominations for the Grand Prize at the KBS Entertainment Awards were revealed on Wednesday.

The five nominees are Kim Sook, Kim Jong-min, Moon Se-yoon, Park Joo-ho and his family, and Jun Hyun-moo.

Kim Sook won the Grand Prize last year, becoming the second woman in KBS’s history to win the award.

Park, who is a professional soccer player, has been nominated together with his family for their appearance on “The Return of Superman.” He previously won the top prize in 2019 along with the other fathers appearing on the program.

Jun's nomination comes as no surprise. He is actively hosting various programs across different channels and has been nominated every year since 2018.

Comedian Moon is appearing on the fourth season of variety show “2 Days & 1 Night.” He won the Top Excellence Award in the variety category during last year’s event.

Singer and entertainer Kim Jong-min, who also appears on “2 Days & 1 Night” has been nominated again for the top prize. He won the award in 2016.

The awards ceremony will air live on Dec. 25.
