Boy band Tempest [YUE HUA ENTERTAINMENT]

Yue Hua Entertainment, home to K-pop acts like WJSN and Everglow, is set to debut its new boy band Tempest on Feb. 21.

For the past week, teaser videos and a countdown schedule were uploaded to the boy band’s social media accounts. The schedule shows that more promotional videos and photos will be updated almost every day until the day of the band’s debut.

Tempest is comprised of seven members: Hwarang, Eunchan, Lew, Hanbin, Hyungseop, Taerae and Hyuk.

According to the agency, the band's name derives from its literal meaning, likening the members to a storm that will sweep up the K-pop industry.

It has been about three years since Yue Hua’s last K-pop act, girl group Everglow, debuted.
