HYBE releases documentary about Tomorrow X Together and Enhypen

Entertainment agency HYBE released a documentary centered on its two rising boy bands, Tomorrow X Together (TXT) and Enhypen.

“Backstage: TXT x En- Documentary” had over 1.5 million views and was No. 15 on the trending list on YouTube, as of Wednesday afternoon. The clip had been released 6 p.m. on HYBE’s official YouTube channel on Tuesday.

The 40-minute video includes behind-the-scene footage of the bands during the “2021 KBS Song Festival” in December where TXT and Enhypen gave a collaborative performance under the theme of “Legend of K-pop.”

During the event, the two bands performed boy band Big Bang’s “Bang Bang Bang” and BTS’s “Fire.”

The documentary is divided into four parts. The first three parts showcase the two bands practicing and rehearsing for their performance at the “KBS Song Festival” while the fourth part features a series of interviews by members of both bands.

Enhypen debuted in 2020 as the finalists of Mnet’s music survival television program “I-Land” (2020). The band consists of seven members: Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo and Ni-ki. It debuted with the EP “Border: Day One” and has released songs such as “Given-Taken” (2020), “Drunk-Dazed” (2021) and “Tamed-Dashed” (2021) from the band’s latest EP “Dimension: Answer.”

TXT debuted in 2019 with an album titled “The Dream Chapter: Magic.” Its hit songs include “Run Away” (2019) “Blue Hour” (2020) and “0X1=Lovesong” (2021). The band consists of five members — Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Huening Kai and Taehyun. The band’s latest album “The Chaos Chapter: Freeze” (2021) remained on the Billboard 200 chart for 10 weeks.
