Miyeon of (G)I-DLE tests positive for Covid-19

Miyeon of girl group (G)I-DLE tested positive for Covid-19 on Friday, according to Cube Entertainment on the same day.

Miyeon initially tested positive through a self-testing kit, then visited a testing center for a PCR test, which also came out positive.

In an official statement, Cube Entertainment wrote that Miyeon is fully vaccinated. She has halted all her activities and is self-isolating.

Miyeon debuted in 2018 as a member of (G)I-DLE. The girl group — currently comprised of Soyeon, Miyeon, Minnie, Yuqi, and Shuhua — is best known for hits “Latata” (2018), “Senorita” (2019), “Lion” (2019), “Uh-Oh” (2019), “Dumdi Dumdi” (2020) and “Hwaa" (2021).
