(G)I-DLE will power through obstacles and take part in Mnet’s music program "M Countdown" on Thursday despite members’ health issues, the girl group’s agency Cube Entertainment said.

All members of the group are set to appear on Thursday’s "M Countdown," a weekly music show aired on cable network Mnet, according to the agency.

The decision was made by members Minnie and Yuqi, who showed a strong desire to perform on stage, especially as the performance will be the group’s first stage appearance since its second full-length album “2” was released on Monday.

Minnie and Yuqi announced Saturday that they would take some time off to rest before their album release, following their doctor's recommendation. The two fell ill the day before the announcement and went to the hospital having a fever and migraine, according to the agency.

"We will plan out the [group's] activities with the artists' health as our utmost priority,” the agency said in a press release previously on Saturday.

The press conference for its new album, which was scheduled for Monday, was also canceled.

The group recently dropped its second full-length album “2” with lead track “Super Lady,” its first full-length album in almost two years.

The newly released album topped the iTunes chart in 24 countries including Australia, Indonesia, Brazil and Taiwan as of Tuesday, according to the agency.

“Super Lady” is also garnering worldwide popularity landing high in iTunes Top K-pop Songs charts in 11 regions, including the United States, Turkey, Taiwan and Japan.

(G)I-DLE debuted in May 2018 with the EP “I AM” under Cube Entertainment. The band consists of five members: Soyeon, Miyeon, Minnie, Yuqi and Shuhua. The band's hit songs include “Latata” (2018), “Tomboy” (2022), “Nxde” (2022) and “Queencard” (2023).
