Mamamoo's Solar tests positive for Covid-19

Solar of girl group Mamamoo has tested positive for Covid-19, according to her agency RBW on Thursday.

“Solar found out that she had been in contact with someone who was infected on Feb. 23 and took a Covid-19 self-test kit which came out positive,” the agency said. “Right away, she took a PCR test which was confirmed to be positive today.”

Solar has received 3 doses of a vaccine. She is reported to have halted all of her activities and is following government measures for quarantine and treatment.

Solar was expected to return to the music industry as a solo artist with her first EP “容 : Face” next month. The singer made her solo debut with the album “Spit It Out” in April 2020.
